English in the Wild

The phrase "in the wild" means being in nature, especially when animals are in their natural environment. When we use it as an idiom, we are saying in a real life situation. For example, "John practiced his flirting at home but he never did well in the wild." So in actual situations with girls (the wild), his flirting didn't work!
This phrase can be applied to learning English too. You may have studied English for many years in a classroom environment, but it can be hard to apply what you've learned outside the classroom.
When you are in the wild, the "tests" are interpreting menu items at Western restaurants or keeping up with the conversation with a group of foreigners. And what about understanding your boss or an important client's accent? Or catching the jokes in a tv show?
Each person has a different learning goal, but my goal is to help you be comfortable speaking English in the wild! I can help you study and practice what you are most interested in and learn how to apply it in real life.
Join me to get out of the textbook and into the wild!
